The dictionary definition of phobia is " an irrational, excessive and persistent fear of some particular thing or situation ".
Some people live with a relatively mild phobia. Others experience extreme distress, hyperventilation and panic attacks. A phobia can cause practical limitations in daily living. It can prevent you doing worthwhile activities, going to particular places or being in specific situations. This can be very upsetting and can effect other areas of life.
You probably know your phobia is irrational. You might have tried using conscious reasoning to overcome it. Yet, by now, you have probably realised the phobia comes from the subconscious mind. And so does the solution.
I use a powerful combination of EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) and hypnotherapy (hypnotic suggestions) to defeat old phobias. I have seen many great results with clients enjoying lasting improvements in quality of life by defeating the old phobia.
Typically I provide treatment over the course of three to six sessions. If you don't have time for that many sessions I can sometimes suggest intensive treatment e.g. one three hour session followed by a 90 minute follow-up.
It is a good idea to book treatment at a time when you have the opportunity to test success e.g. if you have a flying phobia it helps to have the treatment shortly before a holiday abroad, if you have a wasp phobia do it in the summer when you might see more wasps.
